Our Mission

At its core, CC9 was built on the belief that preserving family memories shouldn't be a luxury. Instead of charging premium prices for a single ride photo, our mission is to provide guests with a complete, all-day digital album for that same affordable price. We are dedicated to delivering incredible value to families and effortless operations to park owners—ensuring no parent ever has to choose between experiencing the thrill and capturing the memory.

The Spark

The idea for Capturing Cloud 9 struck in 2026 at a slide park in Fargo. While celebrating a child’s birthday, our founders found themselves dealing with a universal parenting struggle: fighting to get the perfect photo and missing out on the actual fun. It was a hassle, and the industry alternative—paying $20 for a single photo from one ride—felt completely outdated. They realized there had to be a way to capture an entire day's worth of memories effortlessly.

The Vision

They envisioned an intelligent array of cameras that could track and capture the best moments without guests ever needing to pose. CC9's technology was designed to recognize children by their likeness and clothing, meaning a guest doesn't even need to be looking at the camera for the system to add an amazing action shot to their real-time album. Taking it a step further, the AI is trained to understand what makes an image truly "shareable," scoring and curating photos and videos based on substance, quality, and likability.

The CC9 Team

Capturing Cloud 9 was founded by Tera Haseman, CEO, and her husband, Ryan, an engineer. Growing up in a hardworking immigrant family in Florida, Tera’s childhood trips to local amusement parks were cherished, budget-stretching highlights. Today, as a community-focused dentist in Alexandria, Minnesota, and a mother, that lifelong love for thrill parks continues. Together with Ryan’s engineering expertise—and their shared love for high-energy outdoor adventures—they set out to re-engineer the modern park experience.
